‘The Billy’ is a fruit driven Grenache that is intended to allow the floral flavours to be highlighted. Maturation occurred in seasoned French and American oak barrels for 12 months. Wild cherries, raspberry and rose petal aromas waft from the glass. The minimal oak treatment adds a gentle spice to the cherry, rhubarb and strawberry palate that has a slight white pepper complexity. The tannins are silky and soft, allowing the fruit flavours to linger.
